Maintaining a granulator is crucial for its long-term stable operation. Proper maintenance not only extends the machine's lifespan but also improves production efficiency and worker safety. Here are the key maintenance points for a granulator:

1. Ventilation and Heat Dissipation: Place the granulator in a well-ventilated location to help dissipate heat from the motor, preventing overheating that could affect machine performance and lifespan.

2. Lubrication Maintenance: Regularly check and change the gear oil in the reducer, keeping the oil level at the center line of the oil window. Simultaneously, regularly lubricate bearings and other moving parts to ensure smooth machine operation. A grease gun is a common tool for applying grease; it must be used according to the specified application points and frequency.

3. Blade Maintenance: Frequently check the tightness and sharpness of the blades. Tighten or replace any loose or worn blades promptly. Blade sharpness directly affects granulation results and machine load.

4. Cleaning Maintenance: Regularly clean debris and dust from inside and outside the machine chamber to keep the machine clean and reduce potential malfunctions. Also, check and clean the discharge port to prevent blockages that could affect production.

5. Electrical Safety: Ensure the granulator is properly grounded to prevent electrical faults from causing safety accidents. Regularly inspect the wires and cables for integrity and replace any damaged ones promptly.

These maintenance measures ensure the long-term stable operation of the granulator, improve production efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and protect worker safety. In practice, a specific maintenance plan should be developed based on the machine model and operating environment.
