1. Operators of the plastic shredder should carefully read this instruction manual, familiarize themselves with the performance, structure, and operating methods of the plastic shredder, and install, debug, use, and maintain it according to the provisions of this manual.
2. The rotational speed of the matching power source must be strictly selected according to the main shaft speed of the shredder; increasing the main shaft speed is prohibited.
3. The material to be shredded should be free of iron blocks, stones, and other hard objects to prevent damage to the screen and other parts.
4. When feeding material, the operator should stand to the side of the feeding port to prevent hard objects from flying out and causing injury. Using iron rods or wooden sticks to push the material is prohibited, and it is strictly forbidden to put hands into the feeding port to move the material.
5. During operation, pay attention to the bearing temperature, which should not exceed 55°C. If overheating occurs, stop the machine immediately for inspection to prevent damage to the bearings, main shaft, etc.
6. The material in the collection bag should be cleaned out promptly; otherwise, it will significantly affect efficiency.
7. When cleaning blockages in the crushing chamber, adjusting or replacing the screen or V-belts, the power must be switched off to ensure safety.
8. After work is completed, the inside of the plastic shredder must be cleaned thoroughly to prevent rust and screen hole blockage. Waterproof and fireproof measures must be taken in outdoor areas.
9. Minors under 18 years old, elderly people over 55 years old, and those unfamiliar with the operating requirements of the plastic shredder are not allowed to operate the machine alone.
10. The material collection bag should be made of a relatively loose, breathable cotton cloth, with a diameter of 500 mm and a length of 3.5-4 meters.
11. Operating the machine while intoxicated, ill, or excessively fatigued is strictly prohibited.
12. A belt guard should be installed on the plastic shredder during operation to ensure personal safety. 13. After 200 hours of operation, the rotor's wear should be checked. If the wear is significant, it should be replaced immediately to prevent serious damage to the crusher.
