Industrial chillers, as an important cooling equipment, are widely used in various industrial production fields. Its main function is to use a refrigeration cycle to reduce the temperature of the required cooling fluid, thereby meeting different refrigeration requirements. So what does an industrial chiller consist of?
Firstly, the core component of industrial chillers is the compressor. The compressor is the heart of a chiller, which plays a role in compressing the refrigerant, increasing its temperature and pressure. The types of compressors vary depending on the usage environment and cooling capacity requirements. At present, common compressors include horizontal, vertical, rotary, etc.
Secondly, the condenser is also a very important component of industrial chillers. A condenser usually consists of pipes, blades, and fins. High temperature and high pressure refrigerant flows in the middle pipe, and when it comes into contact with external air, it emits a large amount of heat. This is the core function of the condenser: to dissipate the heat from the refrigerant and gradually cool it down.
Industrial chillers also include components such as evaporators, oil separators, expansion valves, etc. Evaporator is a component that uses the evaporation of refrigerant to absorb cooling load, usually using water or air as the cooling medium. The oil separator is used to separate oil stains from the refrigerant to ensure the normal operation of the system. The expansion valve accurately and quantitatively releases refrigerant as needed to ensure its operational efficiency.
Industrial chillers are composed of multiple components that work together to complete refrigeration tasks. Therefore, when using industrial chillers, special attention should be paid to the coordination and unity of various components to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
