1: Clean the condenser and evaporator regularly
The condenser and evaporator are the second most important components of industrial chillers, and they are cleaned once every six months. The cooling water of the water-cooled condenser is an open circulation loop, and the tap water used is recycled through the cooling water tower. It is easy to decompose and deposit impurities on the water pipe to form scale, which affects the heat transfer effect. Excessive scaling will also reduce the flow cross-section of the cooling water, reduce the water volume, and increase the condensation pressure. Therefore, when the tap water quality used is poor, it is cleaned at least once a year to remove the scale in the pipe and perform water treatment operations on the tap water.
2: Check the compressor regularly
The compressor is the "heart" of the chiller, and its quality directly affects the stability of the chiller during use. If the compressor fails, the cost of repair is relatively high, especially for screw compressors, which are high in precision and expensive. Therefore, if you hear abnormal sounds or other situations in the compressor, you must contact the chiller manufacturer to find a professional engineer to inspect and repair it, find out the cause and perform maintenance.
3: Regular inspection of the safety valve
The condenser and evaporator of the industrial chiller are both pressure vessels. According to regulations, a safety valve must be installed on the high-pressure end of the chiller, that is, the condenser body. Once the unit is in an abnormal working environment, the safety valve can automatically release pressure to prevent possible harm to the human body caused by high pressure.
4: Regular replacement of the dry filter
The dry filter is an important component to ensure the normal circulation of the refrigerant. Since water and refrigerant are insoluble in each other, if there is water in the system, it will greatly affect the operating efficiency of the chiller. Therefore, it is very important to keep the system dry. The filter element inside the dry filter must be replaced regularly.
5: Regular replacement of lubricating oil
After long-term use of the industrial chiller, the quality of the lubricating oil will deteriorate, and the impurities and moisture in the oil will increase, so it is necessary to observe and check the oil quality regularly. If any problem is found, it should be replaced immediately.
