In industrial applications, cooling water or other liquids are pumped from cold water through production or laboratory equipment. Industrial chiller is a product used to control cooling. It is widely used in industrial machinery plants. They are often used in the injection molding and blow molding plastics industry, metalworking oils, welding equipment, die casting, machining, chemical processing, pharmaceutical formulations, food and beverage processing, papermaking, cement processing, vacuum systems, X-ray diffraction, power supply and power generation Stations, analytical equipment, semiconductors, compressed air and gas cooling. They are also used to cool high-temperature professional projects, such as laser magnetic resonance imaging machines, and in hospitals, hotels, and campuses.
Industrial chiller units can be centralized in a single chiller unit or distributed across each application or chiller unit. Each method has advantages. It may also have a combination of centralized and decentralized chiller units, especially the cooling requirements for some applications or points of use are the same, but not all.
The size of decentralized chiller is usually small cooling capacity, usually from 0.2 to 10 tons. Central refrigeration systems are generally capable of going from ten tons to hundreds or thousands of tons.
Chilled water is used to cool and dehumidify large commercial, industrial, and institutional (CII) facilities in the air. The chiller can be water-cooled, air-cooled, or evaporatively cooled. Cooling towers for water-cooled chiller units, which will increase the thermal economy of the unit, which is due to the wet or near-air wet bulb temperature, rather than higher rejection reactions, and sometimes even higher, dry bulb temperatures. Evaporative cooling units provide higher efficiency than air-cooled chiller but lower than water-cooled chiller.
Water-cooled chiller is usually used for indoor installation and operation, and has a separate condenser cooling water ring and hot air discharged from the outdoor cooling tower.
Air cooling and evaporative cooling refrigerators are used for outdoor installation and operation. The air of the air cooler is mechanically circulated and directly discharged through the condenser coil of the machine to the atmosphere to directly cool the heat. Evaporative cooling machines are similar, except that they achieve auxiliary condenser cooling on a misty water condenser coil, making the machine more efficient than traditional air-cooled machines. No remote cooling tower usually requires two types of air-cooled or evaporative cooling units.
If available, cold water in nearby water can be used directly for cooling, cooling tower place or replenishment. Water cooling systems for deep lakes abroad are examples: Toronto, Canada. It uses a cold lake water cooling system, which in turn is used to cool the zone cooling system through a city building. Backwater is used to warm the city's drinking water supply, which is desirable in this cold climate. When the cooler dissipates heat, it can be used for production purposes. In addition to the cooling function, it is possible to have high thermal efficiency.
