General Description:

RG-76P series of pipe and profile granulators.

Key characteristics of these industrial machines include:

• Size Range: Available with rotor widths up to 1200mm and rotor diameter is 760mm.

• Construction: The unit features a completely welded heavy steel cutting chamber that is angled.

• Feeding Mechanism: It is equipped with an extended hopper to facilitate easy feeding of parts.

• Cutting Technology: A standard V-cut system is used, which produces high-quality regrind material with minimal fines.

• Maintenance Features: The design includes a hydraulically opened hopper and outboard bearings to reduce the risk of material contamination.

Applications

Conventional granulators have substantial problems handling long pipes and profiles. To feed large and bulky parts in most cases cavities or platforms are needed.

Therefore Rhong developed the RG-76P series range. Thanks to the almost level feeding hopper, long pieces can be fed easily. While the machine is operating there is no risk of blocking, in case of congestion no more material will be accepted by the machine until the grinding chamber is empty and the machine will accept material again, and work continues.
