A plastic honeycomb dehumidifier dryer machine removes moisture from plastic materials by using a continuously rotating desiccant rotor in a closed-loop air system. The process involves adsorption, regeneration, and drying of the plastic pellets.
Working Mechanism
The system operates in a continuous cycle involving several key stages:

Drying Process Air Loop:
1.Humid air from the drying hopper (which contains the wet plastic pellets) is drawn into the dehumidifier.
2.This air passes through a filter and then the honeycomb rotor, which contains hygroscopic materials (like silica gel or molecular sieves) that act like a sponge, absorbing the moisture from the air.


3.The resulting dry air, with a very low dew point (often as low as -40°C or -50°C), is then heated to the specific drying temperature required for the plastic material.
4.This hot, dry air is blown into the drying hopper, passing through the plastic pellets and effectively drawing out their internal moisture.
5.The air, now humid again, returns to the dehumidifier, and the closed loop cycle repeats.

Regeneration Process Air Loop:
A smaller section of the continuously rotating honeycomb rotor simultaneously passes through a separate regeneration zone.

Hot air (the regeneration air) is heated to a high temperature and blown in the opposite direction through this section of the rotor.

This high temperature causes the absorbed moisture to desorb (release) from the desiccant material.

The hot, moisture-laden regeneration air is then exhausted out of the system, restoring the rotor's moisture absorption capacity.

A subsequent cooling phase prepares that section of the rotor to re-enter the main drying process loop.
